Bhakti - The Purest Love

 Bhakti - The Purest Love

Bhakti is the purest form of Love. But to touch that purity, we must first understand what Love truly means. This poem explores the subtle nuances of Love — insights that can illuminate the path of Bhakti.

What is Love?
Is it romantic gestures?
Emotional connection?
Physical intimacy?
Love, at its essence, is unconditional acceptance.
Everything else is an expression of this love.

“To love” and “to express love”
are two different things.
Often, expressions are mistaken as love,
building a burden of expectations.
But true love expects nothing — it only gives.

Love is not a fleeting emotion,
but a conscious choice.
It grows through self-restraint,
and walks with silent poise.
When love is just emotion, it drifts.
When it’s a choice, it stays.

Bhakti is not about rules and rituals.
It is accepting without conditions,
and offering without expectations.
It is the purest form of love—
in which the devotee experiences
the Divine loving back.
